Geneva, the Swiss gate to the world

Switzerland is known for its mountains and beautiful valleys where skiing in winter and hiking in summer find their very best expressions.
Geneva is like a giant box of Swiss chocolates where every experience deserves to be savored: from the buzz of the old town to the quiet lakefront with its luxury hotels and chic boutiques. Perhaps the most amazing quality of Switzerland is the union achieved between city and nature, where nature in its different expressions informs the seamless relationship. Very close to the impressive United Nations headquarters you can take a boat ride on the Lake Geneva, the largest European alpine lake, sip a glass of native Pinot Noir in the vineyards of Satigny; glimpse the pink flamingos of the Jardin Botanique and skii the famous French alps. The St. Pierre Cathedral stands out against the cobblestones of the Old Town. The Jet d’Eau fountain creates rainbows in the air thanks to its water jetted to an altitude of 140 meters, and the huge Horloge Fleurie (Floral Clock) astounds everyone in the Jardin Anglais. On the Left Bank of the lake you will find the bohemian cafes and funky bars of Plainpalais, while on the Right Bank the town of Pâquis with a maze of streets where restaurants melt flavors from around the world.

Amazing ski resorts and mountain landscapes

Proceeding towards Interlaken, you will encounter Montreux, a town affectionately named “the house of music” due to its international jazz festival that is equally considered one of the most beautiful promenade in Switzerland, dotted with palm trees and vineyards that have inspired artists such as Rousseau and Lord Byron. From here you can easily reach some of the most prestigious ski resorts in the world: Gstaad, Crans Montana, and Zermatt. From the latter you can take a scenic train ride, the Glacier Express, which will lead you for 7 hours to Davos and St. Moritz for one of the most memorable journeys in the world.

Interlaken and its majestic alpine scenery

Interlaken is the city between lakes, as its name attests to, surrounded by majestic peaks and wonderful landscapes. A cultural and international destination since the 19th century, here William Tell by Friedrich Schiller has been performed almost without interruption since 1912. Shows take place in the natural setting of the forests and approximately 200 actors narrate and play the deeds of the 14th century Swiss hero in historical clothes.

Zurich, one of the best city world to live

Your last stopover leads you to Zurich that for many people is the coolest city in Europe and definitely one of the places with the best life-style around the world. In the heart of Europe, Zurich combines harmoniously the trams and architecture of Vienna, the canals of Amsterdam, the atmosphere of Parisian cafes and the old town of Stockholm. Although it is not the capital of the country, this attractive mix of classic and modern combined with an excellent arts scene, luxury shops and the wealth of its population, makes Zurich the “moral capital” of the country.
Switzerland is not very large so your itinerary can be customized and detailed very easily. When there do not forget to taste a piece of sweet chocolate or seasoned Gruyere and take a deep long breath. Here the air is always cleaner than anywhere else.
