Algarve Experience

The Algarve is a charming region located at the extreme south of Europe, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, on the south coast of Portugal. Also known as the departure point of the first great transoceanic explorers in the 16th century, this is the land of eternal spring with warm temperatures year round pleasing lovers of sea life and those who prefer to relax in the sun.

The Algarve coastline is characterized by a combination of sheer cliffs rising from the sea and long golden beaches. Sagres is a small windy village, a paradise for surfers with lots of rocky and non-crowded sandy coves. Tavira is a trendy town among Portuguese people because of its wonderful beaches, but still off the beaten path. The town of Vilamoura is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park and is a very chic place reminiscent of Saint-Tropez. Lagos is a lively town full of wonderful spots. This resort town is less known than other ones in Algarve but is well worth a visit for its beautiful beaches.

Those who wish to relax can choose among many kinds of spa treatments, particularly at the thermal baths of Monchique. Inland Algarve, just twenty kilometers from the beaches, offers the Caldas de Monchique, the only thermal complex in all of Portugal, known by the Romans as early as 100 B.C.

Several golf courses boasting international acclaim are at the disposal of golf players who wish to have fun while getting some exercise. A nice way to discover the region is by foot or bike along the Via Algarviana route, a long pedestrian path well off the beaten path that crosses nine municipalities in eastern Algarve. Or explore the Rota Vicentina, a well-preserved path combining rural and coastal stretches.

Fresh fish and seafood are the stars of the Algarvian cuisine. Enjoy them on the beach or in the most refined restaurants. Your experience will be amazing either way!

Ibiza Experience

Eivissa is its Catalan name and the one used by its residents, while the Spanish people and the rest of the world know it better as Ibiza, or the Isla Blanca (White Island). Located in the Balearic archipelago, Ibiza along with the island of Formentera together comprise the Pitiusan Islands.

Ibiza is a very popular tourist destination and is renowned for its wild and legendary nightlife. Having evolved from its earlier hippy and disco roots, the island has become one of the most exclusive, trendy and sophisticated global travel destinations. Designers, artists and musicians meet here during the summer, attracted by its unique energy, its amazing mood, and by the possibility of partying and relaxing with people who share the similar tastes and come from all around the world. Style magazines and newspapers celebrate the stylish and smart Ibicenca culture.

The most famous of the Balearics, Ibiza is not only Movida, dance music and cocktails. The other side of the island features a stunning natural landscape with pine covered hills, cliffs, hidden coves, marvelous beaches and rocky shores, where even at the peak of the summer season you can find solitary corners.

Ibiza is famous for its beautiful beaches and its clean and crystalline sea, as well as for its cultural heritage so evident in the district of Dalt Vila, located within the walled city of Ibiza. Situated at the top of a rocky promontory, here the views of land and sea remain exactly as they were in the 16th century.

Ibiza offers a lot of different kinds of beaches: rocky, sandy, trendy and even isolated. In the peaceful bay of Cala Llonga there are small coves difficult to enter from land but ideal for bathing and relaxing. Calo des Moro and Cala Gracio are well attended by local residents and perfect for scuba diving. The small beach of Cala Codolar is located in a nice cove protected from wind and big waves. Cala d’Hort has white sand and crystal clear water, while Cala Sant Vicent is characterized by its natural pools. For those who prefer the fashionable life even at the beach, Ses Salines is very trendy spot to visit. The meeting point of the international jet set, this beach belongs to the Natural Park of Ses Salines, an area protected for its high ecological value. On the smaller island of Formentera, clear waters, rocky seabeds, sand and Posidonia sea grass provide an amazing setting for diving.

Ibiza offers 300 days of sunshine each year. Its unique combination of wild parties and landscapes is what makes the island so special. It is quality you really cannot experience anywhere else. This also explains why so many people fall in love with Ibiza and return again and again to experience its nature in a deeper way. The lifestyle of Ibiza is so relaxing that picking up the mail at the post office could require half a day. And do not forget the motto of the island: what happens in Ibiza remains in Ibiza!
